A teaser for the World of Warcraft movie was shown off at Comic-Con not too long ago, and last we heard there was a good chance that the movie could begin filming in 2014. The good news for those looking forward to the movie, recent reports have surfaced suggesting that the movie could begin filming on the 13th of January 2014 with the final product seeing a possible release in 2015. This is thanks to a tweet by a film production tracking database, Production Weekly, in which they claim that Legendary Studios has begun setting up shop in Vancouver, Canada, and is set to begin filming in January 2014.
At the moment not much is known about the movie, or what the story will be about. There are many popular storylines in the Warcraft universe, but seeing them recapped could be boring and Blizzard has stated in the past that one of the reasons the movie has taken so long is because they wanted something fresh for the fans. Duncan Jones will be directing the movie with Charles Leavitt writing the script, but at this point in time there has been no word on casting. In any case it looks like there’s still a fair amount of time to wait before we will see the movie, but are you guys excited? Who would you like to see star in the upcoming movie?
