According to a tweet by Verizon the other day, we know that the carrier would be getting its hands on the new BlackBerry Z30, but now word on the street has it that the carrier would not only be offering the device, but could also offer up an exclusive white version of the BlackBerry Z30 and a wireless charging variant as well. Back before the Z30 was announced, it had been rumored that the handset could offer up wireless charging capabilities, making it a first for the company, and sure enough that feature was announced alongside the phone as well.
Given that the BlackBerry Z10 made its debut on Verizon with an exclusive white model earlier this year, we guess this rumor does make some sense. In any case we expect the white model to be pretty much the same as the normal BlackBerry Z30 and will keep its internals, with the main difference being a fresh coat of white paint. The Z30 is expected to pack a 5” Super AMOLED display with a quad-core processor under the hood, a 2,880mAh battery, uses BlackBerry Natural Sound that will provide an enhanced audio experience to the user, and of course will be running on the BlackBerry 10 operating system.
