Taiko Drum Master Wii U Edition Announced For 21st Nov Launch

If you’ve ever been to the arcade, chances are you have probably played some of those simulation games with guitars or drums. Well the good news is that if you’ve enjoyed such games, you might be pleased to learn that in the latest issue of Famitsu, it has been revealed that Taiko Drum Master will be making its way onto the Nintendo Wii U console come 21^st of November. The game has been aptly titled Taiko Drum Master Wii U Edition and will support up to four players at once.

In fact the game will also be compatible with drum peripherals of its predecessor, the Taiko Drum Master Wii: Everyone Party. However for those who are unwilling to fork out money for the peripheral, you will be able to play the game using the WiiPad or use it in conjunction with the TV for a larger display. There will be new features such as a Baton Pass Performance mode, some Mario and Luigi masks, along with an exclusive “Wild Pokemon Battle Medley” tune, all of which feels like Nintendo is trying to combine all their franchises into a single title.

No word on pricing but the game is expected to make its initial debut in Japan, but no word on when it will be making its way stateside or to other markets.
