sprint-moto-xWe do know that the Moto X from Motorola would be arriving on a number of mobile carriers, with US Cellular being the most recently reported one on our site, but here we are with official word from the folks over at Sprint that Moto X will be available from them tomorrow (September 6th) for $199.99 a pop – with a new contract, of course. Having said that, there were whispers going around that the Moto X could very well see a $100 price cut sometime in the fourth quarter of this year, so would it be wise to fork out good money for this handset in lieu of a possible price drop? Only you, the consumer, can answer that question depending on your needs at the moment.

Similar to AT&T and Verizon, Sprint has set an asking price of $199.99 for the Moto X as mentioned earlier, although as an incentive for new customers who want to make a switch in their phone number to Sprint, they will be able to pick up this handset for a mere $99.99. Right from the get go, however, Moto Maker will not be made available to Sprint users, but this ought to be available within a few months’ time. [Press Release]
