From what I have gathered, most people don’t actually move it most of the time, but they do like the idea of being able to do so. Maybe that explain the very high attachment rate for the computer bag that Sony offers for the Vaio Tap.
It is fair to say that customers probably value having a very clean looking all-in-one computer. For professionals, there’s also the added value of having something that looks good, is self-contained and can easily be moved around if needed.
The Vaio Tap 21 can be used as a desktop machine, but it has really been designed for touch, that’s why the new hinge allows users to easily change the vertical angle at which the Tap is used from upright to nearly flat.
In terms of specifications, the CPU options are the Intel Core i5 or i7 with either hybrid HDD or SSD storage. Sony will communicate more configuration information as they get closer to shipping the product.
