This isn’t that big of a deal since we doubt for the most part, not all of us will fully utilize all 2.5GB of RAM, but we guess it’s still a nice hardware specification that Samsung could lord over the competition. Many had initially expected LG to offer up 3GB of RAM with the LG G2, but the handset only arrived with 2GB, so we guess Samsung, while not hitting the 3GB RAM mark, still managed to beat them with an additional 500MB. Other specs that have been “confirmed” include the 2.3GHz quad-core chipset and Full HD 1920×1080 display.
Take it with a grain of salt for now, but @evleaks has been pretty reliable in the past so that’s something to take into consideration, but check back with us on the 4th of September anyway for the official details.
