Over the past few months, we heard the rumors and have even seen the leaks where it has been suggested that Samsung could be working on a Galaxy Note 12.2 tablet device. IFA then came around and many expected Samsung to unveil the tablet then, but it did not make an appearance and now thanks to a Bluetooth SIG sighting, we’re guessing that the device was probably in its early stages of development which might explain why it was missing from Samsung’s IFA announcement, although now we’re not sure when Samsung could unveil the new tablet. CES 2014, perhaps?
In any case while the specifications and features of the tablet have yet to be announced, it has been rumored that it will sport a 12.2” display with a 1.9GHz octa-core processor under the hood, presumably one of Samsung’s Exynos processors. It will also pack 3GB of RAM and a display resolution of 2560×1600 and will come with S Pen support. No word on which version of Android it will run on, but given that the device has yet to be announced, hopefully when it is launched we will see it come with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled.
