Apple unveiled the next version of its OS X operating system, called OS X Mavericks, just a few months ago. Since its unveiling, OS X Mavericks has been seeded to developers to allow them to improve their software prior to its launch, although at this point, Apple has yet to make any official announcements as to when we should expect Mavericks to be made available. Even though Apple hasn’t made any official announcements, that hasn’t stopped people from speculating as to when it’ll finally be released.
A report from 9to5Mac is citing multiple anonymous sources with knowledge of its launch plans as they believe OS X Mavericks will be made available starting at the end of October. It was first believed OS X Mavericks would be released in tandem with iOS 7 later this month, although today’s report is saying otherwise, and instead of a simultaneous release with iOS 7, it’ll launch on its own in October.
If Apple is going to make any announcement regarding OS X Mavericks, we’re sure the company’s upcoming press event, where they’re expected to unveil the next iPhones, would be the perfect time to make their announcement. It’s not unusual for Apple to make announcements of other products during the press events, so hopefully they’ll make one regarding the release of OS X Mavericks.
