Korean Samsung Galaxy S4 Active To Arrive With Snapdragon 800 Processor In October
It has just been reported by Korean news source Naver that Samsung will most probably roll out the existing Samsung Galaxy S4 Active with a Snapdragon 800 processor in South Korea later this October. At this point in time, all existing Samsung Galaxy S4 Active smartphones in that part of the world will be powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor. Apparently, the release of the refreshed Samsung Galaxy S4 Active was delayed due to the recent announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which will hit the market in that part of the world The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is going to arrive before the refreshed Galaxy S4 Active.
For those of you who have already picked up the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active in South Korea, how do you feel about news that the very same handset will be equipped with a technically newer processor? Does it get your goat, or do you understand that this is due to the fact that the early bird might get the worm, and you fully understand the risks that accompany the “status” of being an early adopter? Do you think that companies should actually have a more advanced roadmap for consumers to look at so that they know what they are getting into before making a purchase?
