Apple’s iPhone products have always been a hot commodity and have always been quick to sell out, but it looks like the iPhone 5s has managed to sell out even faster and thanks to sightings on Apple’s European websites in France, Germany, and the UK, it seems that the shipping times of the iPhone 5s has slipped from 7-10 days, meaning that customers will find themselves waiting for a good week or two before they are able to get their hands on the device.
It seems that this slip applies to other countries such as Australia and and China, but over in Hong Kong and Singapore, customers will have to wait until October to get their hands on the device. It is likely that these delays are due to Apple not producing enough products to meet the demand from their customers. It was suggested a while back that Apple was not taking pre-orders for the iPhone 5s due to supply constraints which might have been the result of poor fingerprint sensor yields. In any case if you’re looking forward to getting an iPhone 5s, you best hurry up or you could be in for a pretty long wait.
