HTC One Max Will Be Headed For Sprint [Rumor]

We have been hearing a fair bit about the HTC One Max as the device has appeared in leaked images along with its alleged specifications. Now thanks to a tweet by the ever-reliable @evleaks, it seems that the HTC One Max moniker has since been “confirmed” and that the handset is expected to make its way onto Sprint’s network, although no specific dates were mentioned. The last we heard, the handset was expected to see a release in Q4 2013, so it possible an announcement could be made in the upcoming weeks/months.

The HTC One Max will be HTC’s attempt at a phablet that will give Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy Note 3 a run for its money. Its rumored specs include a 5.9” Super LCD-3 display with a resolution of 1920×1080. It will sport a quad-core processor by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 800, clocked at 2.3GHz with 2GB of RAM accompanying it, a 3,200mAh battery, and will run on Android. Interestingly one of the features of the HTC One Max would be a fingerprint sensor as well, a feature that was recently introduced with the iPhone 5S as well, so it will be interesting to see which technology will outperform the other.
