In the ad, it reads, “In an emergency, a smart-switch will shut off the phone’s power supply and corresponding components to prevent any damage to your iPhone’s delicate circuitry.” Apart from that, this particular ad also claims that the update to iOS 7 would enable allows the iPhone “to instantly detect sudden changes in thermodistribution.” I suppose this is always good for a laugh, but what happens when you have actual iPhone owners who do not know any better and decide to show off their new “waterproof” iPhones to family and friends? Hopefully no iPhones have already slept with the fishes from the time of the bogus ad’s appearance until now.
