Are you an ardent fan of the Warhammer 40,000 series, as well as strategy games in general? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you should rejoice upon hearing that Space Hulk has finally arrived. This is a modern recreation of the 1993 game which was in turn, based on the board game of yore, where Space Hulk would see a bunch of Space Marine Terminators sent to recover a derelict space hulk (hence the name of the game) from a bunch of Genestealers. The Genestealers themselves happen to be a vicious bunch of tyranids which have more than enough genetic weapons to make short work of them Space Marine Terminators if you want to take the gung ho route. Plenty of patience is required, just as in the board game itself, as you explore such a vast ship.
The “Sin of Damnation” would be the vessel in question, where you will be able to participate in a dozen missions from the classic game in addition to three all-new prequel missions. The game itself does come with a 3D engine and visuals that should make you feel right at home if you have given other Warhammer 40,000 games a go in the past. Compared to the fast paced games of today, Space Hulk features turn-based strategy that might make the more impatient ones out there hate this game. Available on the PC, Mac, and iOS platforms, it will feature both single player and multiplayer modes.
