Apparently the decision to launch in the countries mentioned above is because Tizen already supports the languages of these countries, so there will be apps available in the native languages of those regions, thus saving customers time and possibly a headache of looking for apps in their language. Samsung has also reportedly done their research on those markets and have found that some regions like Russia, France, and China were quite big on Bada OS, and we guess Samsung is hoping that they will be just as welcoming with Tizen. Samsung is also expected to hold a developer conference on the 27th of October, so an announcement made then would not be out of the question.
