Interestingly it seems that the reason behind this is because the Samsung Galaxy S4 has not been selling well during the Japan summer, a bit odd given how popular the handset has proven to be, although we guess perhaps in Japan, their customers might favor local companies such as Sharp, Fujitsu, and Sony whose Xperia A proved to be a much better seller on NTT DOCOMO’s network compared to the Galaxy S4. In any case by dropping the Samsung Galaxy S4 from their lineup, it would make the carrier’s winter lineup an all-Japanese one. We guess Samsung shouldn’t take this too personally, after all at least they managed to sell some units compared to the iPhone which wasn’t even offered to begin with.
