We’ve been hearing a lot of chatter in regards to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 3 over the past few weeks. We’ve heard rumors of its 3400mAh battery, as well as a leaked image the is supposed to be the device’s rear without its cover on. Today, it seems like the device’s official name, Galaxy Note 3, has been accidentally confirmed by Samsung.
The accidental confirmation comes from Samsung’s SideSync website, which is an application that allows its users to connect their Samsung device to their computer as well as television set in order to share content located on the smartphone or tablet. The SideSync website mentions customers won’t be required to download software if they own a Galaxy Note III as it’ll come pre-loaded with the device.
It isn’t completely unexpected for Samsung to name their next Galaxy Note the Galaxy Note 3 as the majority of Samsung’s updated smartphone, tablets and phablet devices have similar naming schemes. With that said, today’s news isn’t that surprising, but mention of the device on Samsung’s SideSync website means we could be hearing more about the device sooner rather than later.
