Hmmm, an offer like the one mentioned above is certainly too good to be true, right? Not only that, I am quite sure that you would have come across nuggets of advice from older folks so far that if something is too good to be true, then it probably is. Well, to fork out $10 for Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One is certainly a tantalizing offer, but this particular “deal” will only be kosher should you decide to switch from your current generation console – that is, the Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3, respectively.
Activision has confirmed earlier today that they will take part in Microsoft’s and Sony’s upgrade programs, and Call of Duty: Ghosts has been confirmed. Basically, this would mean that players who purchased Call of Duty: Ghosts for the Xbox 360 or PS3 are able to make the jump Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One or PS4 for a mere $10, although this is a limited time offer (but of course!). Once again, if you do not live outside of the US, the special upgrade price will be €10, or £10. It remains to be seen just how limited this particular offer would be in terms of quantity and timing.
