Nokia Lumia 925 Reportedly Heading To AT&T Mid-September

AT&T customers, if you’ve been eyeing the Nokia Lumia 925 but were a bit bummed that it was a T-Mobile exclusive, fret not because word on the street has it that the handset will be making its way onto AT&T’s network in the near future. This is according to the folks at Windows Phone Central who were tipped off by their source that the Lumia 925 could arrive no AT&T’s network come mid-September and will set customers back $99 and will be available in black. It should be noted that this does not replace the Lumia 920 which continues to remain as an AT&T exclusive, and will be sold alongside the Lumia 925 but its price is expected to see a drop to a more affordable $49.

Just as a quick recap for those unfamiliar with the Lumia 925, this is Nokia’s first Windows Phone that uses aluminum in its build instead of polycarbonate which seems to be the typical choice of material. It will sport a 4.5” AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 2, an 8.7MP camera, and will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It is also expected to come with 16GB of onboard storage, not 32GB which we’re sure that some of you guys might have been hoping for.
