LG G Pad Rumored To Sport Snapdragon 600 Chipset, Not Snapdragon 800
We have been hearing rumors that LG could be looking to launch new tablets of their own, with certain LG devices even being spotted at the FCC. In any case the name LG G Pad has also been thrown around quite a bit and we’re sure some of you guys are wondering what sort of hardware specs this alleged device could hold. Last we heard the device could sport an 8.3” display with a resolution of 1920×1200 and will be quad-core powered with 2GB of RAM. At that time it was rumored that the chipset used could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800, but according to Korean media outlets, it will instead use the Snapdragon 600 chipset rather than the Snapdragon 800.
The sources have also confirmed its 8.3” display and has added that it will be available in both WiFi-only and LTE variants, with the WiFi model destined for the Korean markets, and the LTE model expected to make its way onto Verizon’s network in the US.
