HP Slate 8 Pro Spotted In GFXBench Benchmark
Earlier this morning, we did talk about a certain HP Bodhi device that ran on the Android mobile operating system, and it seems that additional information on said tablet has been revealed later in the day. The very same device has popped up in yet another leaked benchmark, although this time around, it would be on the GFXBench website, where it has dropped the Bodhi name and stuck with the HP Slate 8 Pro name instead. The HP Slate 8 Pro will of course, run on Android, while sporting an 8” display (hence its name) that comes with a 1,600 x 1,200 pixel resolution display.
The naming convention does make plenty of sense. After all, the HP Slate 7 did happen to be a 7-inch Android tablet, while the HP Slate 21 did appear is an all-in-one Android desktop that boasts of a 21.5-inch touchscreen display. Just as this morning’s leaked benchmark, results from the GFXBench benchmark also point to a possible NVIDIA Tegra 4 ARM Cortex-A15 quad-core processor with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean in tow. Do you think that HP will be able to be successful in the tablet business, especially one where so many manufacturers have jumped aboard the Android bandwagon already? Only time will tell, so stay tuned!
