So, you would like to think of yourself as one of those hardcore Halo fans who stand heads and shoulders above the rest of the Halo crowd, being as dedicated as one can be to the cause. Having said that, purchasing a vanilla copy of any Halo game would not make the cut for you, and I am quite sure if you fall under such a category, then you would have long set your sights on the Halo 4 Game of the Year Edition. According to a Microsoft spokesperson, the Halo 4 Game of the Year Edition is all set to hit the markets later this October for $49.99 a pop.
A prepared statement by said Microsoft spokesperson mentioned, “A Game of the Year Edition of Halo 4 will be offered this October, offering tremendous value for fans who want to enjoy one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2012, and additional DLC all in one place.We will have more details to share during the live stream of the Halo Global Championship Finals this Sunday.” Well, I guess that’s that, and we cannot wait for October to arrive soon enough. Expect the Game of the Year Edition to come with Spartan Ops Season 1, War Games Map Pass, Halo 4 Champions Bundle and of course, pre-order exclusive and Limited Collector’s Edition DLC that were released previously.
