Dracula is the undead icon that simply refuses to stay dead, and I suppose part of the reason he has returned in different ways over the past years would be due to the Twilight franchise that butchered his manly image – sparkling vampires that break apart like porcelain? The ability to walk in sunlight, as well as being able to impregnate a human? That’s simply ludicrous! Here’s a throwback to the more macho days of a vampire, as you can check out the gameplay trailer of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 above and see just how much more scary things are in the presence of a vampire and his lair.
Not only that, there is also a fight depicted against a yet unseen statue boss, not to mention a launch date of February 25, 2014. That might not be the original winter 2013 launch period as intended, but still, a couple of months down the road after the year comes to an end is still not too long to wait. We cannot wait to see how the trilogy of Dracula’s story concludes. Just to make sure that we are on the same page, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will roll out on a slew of platforms – the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
