Earlier this morning, we did bring you a glimpse of BBM for Android in the form of a splash screen, and here we are with additional views of BlackBerry Messenger for Android thanks to the folks over at BlackBerryOS.com. After all, it was mentioned a couple of months back that BlackBerry Messenger is headed for iOS as well as the Android platform ‘before the end of the summer’, so it is not surprising to see additional screenshots of BlackBerry Messenger making their way around the Internet, and I am quite sure that these are a whole lot more legit than previous sightings.
Apart from the sign-in page that was spotted on a Samsung Galaxy S3, the other images which were leaked out did depict the actual app itself. Apparently, BBM for Android will make use of the left-side drawer in pretty much the same vein as that of the BlackBerry Hub app on BB10, while sporting menu buttons across the bottom that will hopefully make it easier to navigate to your contacts, groups and settings. Hopefully BBM for Android will be released officially, and soon!
