At the Gamescom conference today EA announced that Battlefield 4 multiplayer beta will be rolled out in early October on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Battlefield 3 Premium members, those who pre-ordered Battlefied 4 Digital Deluxe and those who own Medal of Honor Warfighter Digital Deluxe and Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition will have exclusive access to Battlefield 4 multiplayer beta for the first three days.
After the initial three days an open beta for all worldwide gamers will be hosted by DICE. It would feature the Siege of Shanghai map and Conquest mode. The premium membership scheme for Battlefield 4 was also announced today. For $50, members will get early access to five digital expansion packs, Battlefield 4 Second Assault, China Rising, Naval Strike, Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand. Premium members will also be given additional weekly content as well as unique personalization options such as paints, dogtags, emblems and camos. 12 bonus “Battlefield 4 Battlepacks,” will also be provided. The premium member will be available on all platforms and will be transferable. Battlefield 4 for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will be released on October 29th. The game will also eventually become available for both next generation consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
