We’ve been hearing a lot in regards to Nokia’s upcoming tablet, which we’ve even seen leaked photos of the device as well as specs just a few weeks ago. Today, it seems like we’re learning a bit more about the upcoming tablet made by Nokia due to a recently published report.

The tablet Nokia is allegedly currently working on is codenamed “Sirius” and is expected to sport a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 2GB or RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, microUSB, microHDMI and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. A 6MP rear-facing camera and 2MP front-facing camera are also expected to be included and it’s being reported it’ll be thinner than an iPad.

Nokia’s Sirius tablet is expected to run on Windows RT, which considering just how unpopular the operating system has become with other manufacturers, this could potentially be a deal breaker depending on how Nokia does with the stripped-down OS. Considering Nokia hasn’t created a tablet since the company moved from Symbian and MeeGo devices to those running the Windows Phone operating system, it’ll still be interesting to see just how well they deliver their first Windows tablet, regardless if its running on Windows RT or not.
