According to the benchmark, the Acer Liquid S2 device will sport a 6” 1920×1080 Full HD IPS display. It could also be powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset which is definitely no slouch, and has been rumored to power Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 3 phablet as well. It will also sport 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 13MP, NFC connectivity, and according to the benchmark, is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The last bit is a strange given that the leaked roadmap suggested Android Key Lime Pie as its OS of choice, but perhaps it could be upgraded before it is released.
No word on when Acer plans to launch the Liquid S2, but it has been rumored for a potential launch later this year. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Not too shabby, huh?
