When it comes to 4G LTE in the U.S.A, Verizon Wireless reigns supreme with its largest LTE network of the country. It has virtually completed the roll out of its network. T-Mobile is the fourth largest carrier in the country. It hasn’t been long since the carrier officially launched its 4G LTE network, nevertheless they have been breaking new ground at a remarkable place. T-Mobile announced today that its high speed data network is now available in 116 cities, covering some 157 million people.
T-Mobile actually had a mid-year goal of making its network available to 100 million people, they’ve smashed that goal by quite a margin. Major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Miami, Atlanta and Dallas are all covered under T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network. The carrier expects to complete nationwide roll-out of its network by the end of this year. They’ve also added new LTE capable devices in the lineup, Nokia Lumia 925 and Sony Xperia Z to be precise. T-Mobile will be providing Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 users an LTE software update to get them on the network as well.
