If you’re in the market for a portable set of Bluetooth speakers which can be daisy chained if the occasion calls for it, Soundfreaq has announced the Sound Spot (pictured above). The speaker itself looks pretty nice in terms of design, and thanks to its lithium-ion battery, it will be able to run for up to seven hours on a single charge, which admittedly is pretty impressive! In fact it seems that the Sound Spot will pull double duty and act as a charge of sorts as well, thanks to a built-in USB port that will allow users to connect USB devices to it and charge it, even if it means drawing power away from the speaker and into your device.
Playback can also be controlled via the speaker itself, or via your media device whether it be your phone, tablet or MP3 player. A 3.5mm input jack is also included for older devices that might not support Bluetooth, and thanks to an added output jack, you can daisy chain multiple Sound Spot speakers which will help boost overall volume. Priced at $69, the Sound Spot speakersare expected to begin shipping via Soundfreaq’s website in 2-3 weeks’ time, although it should be available from Target on the 23rd of July.
