We’ve been hearing rumors about Sony possibly launching a new full-frame NEX camera, and while it seems that this camera is aimed at the more professional photographer who might be willing to shell out for such a device, word on the street has it that Sony could also be looking to launch a mid-ranged NEX device called the NEX-5T. This is according to the folks at Sony Alpha Rumors who managed to “confirm” this rumor via one of their sources. Unfortunately at the moment the specifications of the NEX-5T remain a mystery, but if it is going to be part of Sony’s NEX-5 range of NEX cameras, then it’s not that hard to speculate as to what Sony could bring to the device, although for all we know Sony could very well surprise us. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but if the idea of a new NEX-5 camera sounds good, check back with us at a later date for the details, especially since Sony is apparently rumored to be announcing the device “soon”.
