The Robugtix T8 will run on 26 Hitec HS-35HD servo motors with three in each leg, while there are extra servos which help it to wiggle its abdomen. The servo types used tend to have low torque, so do expect its performance to be somewhat limited, but there is on major advantage of using low torque servos – the final price point remains as low cost as possible. Expect the first batch of these Robugtix T8s to ship later this September 30th. Do you think this would make for a decent Christmas present later this year for budding and inquisitive kids?
