Google Glass is certainly a fascinating product. Currently it has only been made available to selected people who are called Glass Explorers. Google says that the public release of this gadget isn’t going to take place until 2014, an exact time-frame has not yet been provided. It is possible to install apps on Google Glass, in fact apps for this device are called Glassware. It appears that the device may soon be getting access to Google Play Store, through which Glassware will presumably be distributed to users.

Third party developers have already started creating apps for Google Glass, and once it becomes publicly available, there will be a plethora of apps being released for it every single day. Naturally, having all of them in one place would make things a lot easier for users. Google rolled out a refreshed version of Play Store on the web earlier today, Android and Me spotted a grayed out “Google Glass 1” entry in the device field. It is not currently possible to push apps for Glass, though is appears to be highly likely that the option to do so will be available in the near future.
