Have you ever played Plants vs. Zombies? Now this is definitely a very strange combination when you think about it, especially when you consider how most of the zombie apocalypse scenarios that we have come across tend to be dark, and all other peripheral characters tend to kick the bucket once they have served their purpose in the storyline. Not so with the Plants vs. Zombies scenario, as it offers a more comical insight to the genre, and a comic book adaptation of PopCap Games’ title is now made available on iOS with Dark Horse Comics as the publisher.
Known as Plants vs. Zombies: Lawnmageddon, this will be a six episode run, where it places readers in the life of Crazy Dave, his niece Patrice and Nate Timely, where they do their best to defend the neighborhood against the advancing zombie army. These comics are available via a $0.99 iOS app, but the price will be waived from July 17 to 21 to coincide with San Diego Comic-Con. Not only that, the first issue is also said to be free in that window. Sounds like a fun read, but it will never become a collector’s item like Amazing Fantasy #15.
