An app should never, ever, remain just where it is – being stagnant is a surefire recipe for disaster in this fast paced world. Well, in March this year, we did mention that Pinterest would be introducing a new look for all its users (where it did bring back some old features along the way), and a couple of months later, Pinterest did roll out an app update for Android as well as iOS platforms. Just last month, Pinterest now allowed users to search through their own pins for a higher degree of usefulness.
The latest iOS version of Pinterest now has the advantage of an animated shortcut which would come in handy if you want to repin, like or send pins to your mates whenever you press on an entry. Some will say that this is rather similar in function to Tumblr’s sharing tools, but it must be noted that the menu itself will boast of fancier graphics which will definitely fall in line with the social networks’ overall aesthetic. Apart from that, Pinterest has also thrown in an Edit Home Feed button that makes it easier to housekeep your pins on the iPhone, in addition to sending pins to your friends from the iPad.
