Just yesterday Apple seeded iOS 7 beta 3 for compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models. The latest beta firmware update for iOS 7 came exactly two weeks after the second beta was released. The mobile platform update wasn’t the only software related announcement that Apple made at WWDC 2013. OS X Mavericks, the company’s first California themed Mac update, was also unveiled. For registered developers, the OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 3 is now available for download.
The changelog of this beta update doesn’t list any new features, though it does come with the quintessential bug fixes and performance improvements. The company does not however that some tweaks have been made in the background for iCloud Keychain, similar tweaks were made for the feature in iOS 7 beta 3 as well. Apart from that, no major changes are immediately noticeable in OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 3. The update can be downloaded right now from Mac App Store. As far as the public release of OS X Mavericks goes, Apple is going to roll it out this fall, though a specific release date has not yet been provided.
