nokia-lumia-1020-sample

We’ve spotted a number of leaks for Nokia’s upcoming Lumia 1020 over the past couple of weeks that included an AT&T branded device as well as a retail listing where it’s rumored to sell for a little over $600. But today, we’re seeing the hardest proof the Nokia’s upcoming 41MP Windows Phone device will be called the Lumia 1020, thanks to a newly leaked photo taken with the device.

Sample photos taken from the Nokia Lumia 1020 have made their way to Flickr by Microsoft Windows Phone manager Joe Belfiore. Belfiore uploaded sample shots from a number of Lumia Windows Phones, with two of those devices appearing as being taken by the “Nokia Lumia 1020.”

We know both EXIF and Flickr data can be faked, but we don’t see someone like Belfiore faking this particular information as the images were uploaded onto his own personal Flickr account. Either way, we expect to hear more about the Lumia 1020 during an event Nokia will be holding in New York City this coming Thursday. So if you’re interested in hearing exactly what Nokia has up its sleeve, you’ll want to mark your calendars.
