If you’re looking for a new Nikon DSLR camera, it seems that come August/September, Nikon will be announcing a couple of new products with product launches scheduled to be a few days or weeks apart. According to the folks at Nikon Rumors, the first wave of announcements are expected to be related to the company’s compact camera and mirrorless camera lineup, such as new Coolpix or Nikon 1 cameras. Exactly what cameras or accessories will be announced remain to be seen, and for those in the market for a DSLR camera, the second wave of announcements could be of interest to you. It seems that Nikon could also be announcing a D300S successor, along with a new 300mm f/4 lens, and a new DX zoom lens which is expected to be sold as a kit with the D300S’ successor. There is also a small chance that Nikon could be announcing a D400 camera, but as it stands there isn’t much info to be had at the moment regarding specifications, but with the rumored announcements pegged for August/September, we expect it shouldn’t be too long before we start hearing more about them, so stay tuned!
