New Zealand Band Releases Album On 3.5″ Floppy Disk

0001594596_10If you have been playing video games for a while, you might recall that almost two decades ago, video games came in multiple diskettes, and before it was in the 5 and ¼ inch floppy disks, before it moved into the 3.5” discs and so on. Those were indeed the days and it seems that not everyone has forgotten about the format, and one band in New Zealand has attempted to recapture the moment by releasing their album on a 3.5” floppy disk. Called Ghidoragh, the band has released their latest album, Threat Level Ultra, on the 3.55” floppy disk and have designed the entire package to be reminiscent of a video game back in the day. The album comes with a box and even a “manual”, and if you’re wondering how the heck do you listen to music on said album, well the good news is that the band is also selling their album digitally, although we’re guessing this copy will probably appeal to collectors and those who remember the good old days of video games. The physical copy of the album can be yours for NZ$45, while the digital copy can be had for any price you think it is worth.
