There have already been a lot of rumors regarding the new Nexus 7 tablets. Google itself hasn’t confirmed that it is going to launch a new Nexus tablet soon, however we’ve seen purported leaked images of this device and have also seen the specifications it is expected to tout. Today the new Nexus 7 price has allegedly been leaked, the source of this leak is a screenshot from an unnamed retailer’s internal inventory system.
The screenshot shows both 16GB and 32GB Nexus 7 models which cost $229 and $269 respectively. Both of these models are listed as quadcore, presumably a hint that the new tablets will have quadcore processors. Expected specifications include a 5 megapixel rear camera and probably even a 1080p full HD display. There’s no word as yet when the new Nexus 7 tablets will be launched. Google today rolled out invites for an event on July 24th, it is believed that the company will make Nexus related announcements at the event. For all we know, it could also announce Android 4.3, which presumably will come pre-installed on the company’s next generation Nexus tablets. [Image via AndroidCentral]
