Motorola Droid Ultra Limited Edition Leaked

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve seen leaked photos of the Motorola Droid Ultra leaked, and press renderings as well, and now thanks to a newly leaked photo (via Houdabao), it seems that Verizon owners can look forward to a limited edition model of the handset. As you can see in the image above, the limited edition of the Motorola Droid Ultra will sport a racing stripe design down the middle of its back, but apart from that the rest of the device appears to be similar in design to the regular phone. There’s no mention as to whether there will be features such as wallpapers or ringtones that will accompany the limited edition model, or how a customer will be able to get their hands on it.

Verizon has in the past created special edition models of handsets that are limited to their employees only, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they were going to do the same thing with the Droid Ultra. However we expect many employees might be enterprising in nature and eventually sell off their copy on eBay or Craigslist, so if this really is the employee-edition, don’t be surprised if you start seeing it listed on eBay in the near future!
