It has been rumored that perhaps Motorola will be unveiling the Moto X smartphone on July 11th, but only today we saw a contradictory report coming in. Right now it is unclear when exactly the company will unveil the smartphone, let alone release it. Rumor has it that Moto X Canada release on Rogers is going to take place this August, an allegedly leaked picture of an internal memo from the carrier substantiates this rumor. It can not be confirmed right now whether this expected time-frame for Moto X release in Canada is in fact true.
It is expected that Moto X will ship with Android 4.2.2 pre-installed. As it is likely to be a device capable with LTE networks, it might work on Roger’s LTE Max network across the border. Pricing details are not available as of now. No confirmation has come in as yet from either Rogers or Motorola, none can be expected until the device is officially unveiled to the world. Motorola has already started running ads and has also put up a signup page for Moto X, these are most definitely indicators of an imminent launch. [Image via MobileSyrup]
