surface-pro-review--07

The Microsoft Surface Pro made its official debut in Japan last month, bringing with it a new 256GB version as well as a number of new covers. We’re sure many Surface Pro owners were envious Japan was able to get their hands on the 256GB version of the tablet before we were able to in the U.S., but it looks like we didn’t have to wait long until it was made available for purchase.

The 256GB variant of the Microsoft Surface Pro hasn’t been made available on Microsoft’s web store, but it’s been spotted on CDW.com selling for $1,199. This isn’t an imported version of the Japanese 256GB Microsoft Surface Pro either as it looks like it’s a North American version which comes with one year of hardware support.

The Surface Pro CDW has listed being the 256GB model comes with an Intel Core i5 CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 1080p multi-touch display. So far, no word has come from Microsoft yet regarding the 256GB version of the Surface Pro making its debut in the U.S., but we’re sure it’ll come sooner than later.
