In the past couple of years we’ve seen the mid-range tablet market increase exponentially. The original iPad may have kickstarted the tablet boom back in 2010, but it was and its latest variant still is an expensive device. Now there are a number of manufacturers that are catering to the budget tablet market and today Lenovo has quietly released three of its new offerings for this market. They are called the Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 tablets.

Lenovo A1000 has a 1024×600 7 inch display with 1GB of RAM aiding the 1.2GHz dualcore processor. With 16GB of internal storage and Dolby Digital Plus as well as front-facing speakers it costs $149.99. The A3000 is similar in terms of specifications and size, instead of a dualcore processor it is powered by a 1.2GHz quadcore processor, it costs $179.99. The Lenovo S6000 tablet has a 1280×800 IPS 10.1 inch display, a 1.2GHz quadcore processor with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Certainly the more “premium” offering in this lineup, costing $279.99. All three tablets run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. They are now available for purchase through Best Buy and Amazon.
