modaco-switchEarlier this month, we did take a look at the MoDaCo Switch for the HTC One, where it enables one to run not only HTC’s very own Sense user interface which runs on top of Google’s Android operating system, but also paves the way for HTC One owners to enjoy a true blue Google experience. Well, there are whispers of the Samsung Galaxy S4 picking up the MoDaCo Switch as well, and since there is quite a number of Galaxy S4 variants around, the particular unit which we are referring to would be the GT-i9505.

A funding campaign for the Galaxy S4 MoDaCo Switch has already kicked off over at Indiegogo, with hopes to ultimately raise £1,000. This is not a far fetched goal, as to date, £770 has already been pledged. Once it is complete, Samsung Galaxy S4 owners too, will be able to sit smugly next to their friends who have a HTC One, where one is able to make the jump from the TouchWiz interface to stock Android in a jiffy. It is said that a £3 pledge will provide you with early access to the MoDaCo Switch on your Galaxy S4, and should you be feeling a wee bit more generous, you can even drop £3,000 which has been described as “the full monty option”. One of the perks of dropping such a serious amount of coin would allow you to have dinner with the whole team in London, where you will also be on the receiving end of a Samsung Galaxy S4 that has MoDaCo Switch installed already.
