If you have multiple iOS devices that need charging and you’d like to charge them all “neatly”, Griffin might have the solution for you in the form of the PowerDock 5. As you can see in the image above, the PowerDock 5 will charge up to 5 iOS devices simultaneously with each USB port putting out 10 watts and 2.1 amps which should be enough to charge your collection of iPods, iPads, and/or iPhones. According to Griffin, the slots that hold each device should be spacious enough so that even if your iOS device were wrapped up in a super padded casing, it should be able to sit in the slots rather nicely. The PowerDock 5 will also come with an illuminated power status light that shows when the PowerDock 5 is ready to start charging. In any case the Griffin PowerDock 5 is priced at $99.99 and should begin shipping this week without the necessary cables, so if you’re interested in getting one for yourself, hit up Griffin’s website for the details. No word on whether it will play nicely with other devices that can be charged via USB although according to Griffin’s website it seems to be only compatible with iOS devices, although we’re not sure if they’re talking about the grooves in the charging dock or the entire device.
