It looks like Google Play has achieved yet another milestone, where Google has just announced the new Google Play Games app, where it has both games and friends on your display right from the get go – the two most important elements required. The Google Play Games can be downloaded from Google Play, but it will arrive by default on the recently introduced Nexus 7 tablet.
A trio of games were announced, including Riptide GP2, Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, and Asphalt 8, where the second game mentioned was developed by Ubisoft and it certainly brings those of us who played Prince of Persia in our younger days feel young again, and they would definitely be able to let you maximize the enjoyment on your new Nexus 7, thanks to its processing capabilities and lightweight nature. Riptide GP2 is already available today, while Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame will be available tomorrow, with Asphalt 8 arriving on August 8th. Google claims that these three are just the beginning – and there is more, much much more, to come.
