Google Maps Street View Show Off Shops From Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley
The famous Diagon Alley set from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London might prove to be off limits for millions of Harry Potter fans around the world, simply because these fans do not happen to live in London, and neither do they have the financial means to make their way there in the near and immediate future. Hence, I must say that it is moments like these which make technology so lovable, where thanks to Google Maps’ Street View mode, one is able to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Ollivanders Wand Shop, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes joke shop and Mr. Mulpepper’s Apothecary.
According to Warner Bros. Studio Tour, they claimed that the Diagon Alley set took over three months to build, and required another half a year to come up with more than 20,000 products available which were placed on the respective shops’ shelves. You might want to give Diagon Alley a go without having to fork out a single cent (we do not take into account your monthly Internet subscription fee, of course), now how about that?
