Geeksphone Teases New Firefox OS Device
Geeksphone had already begun to tease its next Firefox OS-powered device right after the platform has rolled out to the public. In fact, they revealed that their upcoming smartphone that will run on the Firefox OS platform will be called the Peak+, which will obviously be an upgraded version of its original Peak developer device, and since this is a newer device, it conforms to the norm that one will be able to find new hardware features underneath the hood. It remains to be seen just which parts of the Peak+ will see an improvement, marked or otherwise, but it does of course, promise that the company has been taking in all the feedback that the user community has provided, and will work on the issues raised.
Geeksphone however, did confirm that they will put up on offer 25GB of cloud storage for its new users, allowing them to synchronize data with other kinds of hardware over the Internet. The Peak+’s feature set is not the only thing that we are more or less left in the dark with at the moment, as we would also like to knw more about what Geeksphone has in store for the Peak+’s launch plans.
