When it comes to aggregating news, iOS and Android users have many options to choose from, although one of the most pretty apps that offers a magazine-like experience would be Flipboard. The good news for Windows Phone users is that the app will be making its way onto Windows Phone devices, especially with Flipboard confirming their partnership with Microsoft. However for those who might still be in doubt and thought that maybe the app would be arriving on Windows RT, the good news is that the folks at Plaffo decided to follow up and do some confirmation themselves, and according to the Flipboard employee, Flipboard will be available on Windows 8 devices and mobile devices, such as “phones and tablets”. No word on when exactly Flipboard for Windows RT or Windows Phone will be released, but we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled! With Flipboard making its way onto Windows Phone, that’s another major app that Windows Phone owners can cross off their checklist, now if only Instagram would make its way onto Windows Phone as well!
