The other day thanks to an FCC filing, a camera grip accessory for the Nokia EOS was revealed (in mention, not in photo). Now thanks to a rumor from a source reportedly close to Nokia China, word on the street has it that the Nokia EOS could be getting a camera shell accessory of its own too! As the name would have implied, this camera shell device is said to attach to the back of the phone which will apparently raise the back of the phone to match the level of the camera’s hump, thus providing users with a better grip when used as a camera in landscape mode.
While this has been described more as a snap on back case, it could also pass off as a camera grip if one were to ignore the semantics. Assuming this is true, and this is indeed the camera grip accessory that passed through the FCC, we guess we have some additional details with regards to its functionality now.
