AT&T Begins To Sell Nokia Lumia 1020
The Nokia Lumia 1020, a flagship device from Finnish smartphone manufacturer Nokia, is now up for sale on an official basis, despite its pre-order having hit the “sold out” status sometime last week. Running on the Windows Phone 8 operating system, where the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available for $299.99, alongside a 2-year contract, with the device arriving in a choice of black, white, or yellow shades. There are whispers that a red version could be introduced to the masses sometime down the road, but it is just speculation as at press time.
At $299.99 a pop, this would make the Nokia Lumia 1020 as the most expensive Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the US, in addition to being the second most expensive handset under AT&T’s banner, placing it side by side with the 32GB model of the iPhone 5. Do you think that the Lumia 1020 is going to make it big in the long run, or will it fizzle out shortly? The camera itself has been touted to be one of the best smartphone cameras to date, and you can read more about it in our hands-on review of the Lumia 1020. [Product Page]
